Data Maintenance Specialist

Would you like to work in a company that handles 24 million bookings per year, in a complex transaction intensive environment?

Within the Service Delivery unit, we are now strengthening the business with 1-2 positions as Data Maintenance Specialists. The data maintenance group is specialized in executing clients´ requirements and wishes through changes of customer data. The Service Delivery unit is responsible for the support and delivery of Linkon products and solutions. As a Data Maintenance Specialist, your prime responsibility is to investigate, specify and execute clients´ requirements and wishes through changes of customer data in the sales system. It can also include work as coordinator when customers need more extensive and complex business data. We use own developed data management tools and other tools such as DB Visualizer, SoupUi and Jasper report. The job also includes a high degree of administration and documentation.

We’re located right in the middle of the city, two minutes from Stockholm Central Station.

With a vision of creating seamless mobility in ground travel and the transportation industry as a whole, we use cutting-edge technology, connecting carriers and travelers across multiple channels and geographic areas.

Skills & Requirements

  • A university education with a specialization in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Around 3-5 years of experience within Data Maintenance.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish and good English.
  • You have strong organizational skills, ability to manage a complex workload, to work independently and pro-actively with minimal supervision, and to participate in team-based project work.
  • You are patient, structured and flexible with good social skills. We believe that you are service minded, pay attention to details and know how to prioritize and take initiative. As our delivery rate is very high, you are also expected to work well under pressure.
  • Experience from the travel industry is a plus.

Product Marketing manager

As a Product Marketing manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for our products. You will own and craft the Value Proposition, create messaging and positioning for products.

You will develop presentation material, white papers and other marketing collaterals that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.

In your role as a Product Marketing manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales force as well as product department.

Key responsibilities

  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of the customer segment’s needs, trends and dynamics
  • Conduct competitor analysis & market research
  • Shape communication & strategic positioning around products
  • Define and own value propositions for the assigned products
  • Create marketing collateral (e.g. product presentations, white papers)
  • External communication
  • Work closely with Product department and Sales department to make sure that the end products fits the right customer segment and customer needs
  • Gather feedback from the market, consolidating customer’s needs in order to develop new product concepts or enhancements

Competence and skills

  • Degree in Business & Marketing or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or similar role in the software industry (B2B)
  • Proficient in translating and condensing highly technical product offerings and concepts effectively for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics
  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Ability to drive communication processes and work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing

New Business developer

We are now seeking a person to work with sales and business development in our Sales and marketing department.

Your main mission is to create new profitable business opportunities with customer value and customer experience in focus, and to sell our customer offerings within Carrier IT and distribution.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Understand Linkon’s customers’ needs in carrier IT and distribution and to sell our solutions.
  • Develop new business models that are attractive in the market.
  • Independently drive business deals of varying size and complexity in the Swedish market, as well as in cooperation with SilverRail search new business in the international market.
  • Convey market demands and needs to Product department.

 

Competence and skills

As a business developer at Linkon you must have a basic interest in the travel industry,
ground transportation in particular, and understand our products and services.

You need to monitor trends in the industry, and keep updated on our competitive situation.
You find new customers and business opportunities by clearly demonstrating business value, operating and developing customer relations and directing the customer’s expectations.

Personality and driving force are crucial. We are looking for someone who wants to see results, is passionate about the business and make things happen.

In addition, you will be expected to have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Background in the travel industry
  • B2B sales experience
  • Experience in IT solutions
  • Good experience of analysis and presentation skills
  • Interest and good experience of quantitative and commercial analysis
  • Ability to see the big picture and work results-oriented
  • Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing, additional languages are meritorious
